The Tax Collector will accept payment for school taxes beginning September 1, 2012, and ending October 31, 2012.  Payment may be mailed to the Collector, Doris I. Schlee, 37 Brook Street, Laurens, NY  13796.  Checks should be made payable to Doris I. Schlee, Tax Collector.

The Collector will personally accept taxes from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, at the Town Hall, Laurens, from September 1, 2012, through September 30, 2012.  From October 1, 2012, through October 31, 2012, taxes will be received from 9:00 am to 12 noon.  Taxes will be collected at no interest from September 1, 2012, through September 30, 2012, and at 2% interest through October 31, 2012.  All taxes remaining unpaid after October 31, 2012 will be returned to the Otsego County Treasurer
