All students in grades K,2,4,7, 10 and new entrance are
required to have a current physical exam. Students may
schedule one with their primary care provider or set up
an appointment with the HealthZone staff.

Flu Season Will Soon
Be Upon Us!
Flu vaccine is recommended for:

All Children 6 through 23 months old
-
Children with a long -term illness of the heart,
lungs (including asthma), immune system, etc.

Children who live with a child 0-23 months old or
someone who has with a long-term illness

Children whose parents want to protect them from the
flu virus
Why bother getting the flu
vaccine?
Many children end up in the hospital from the
flu.
Can the flu vaccine give your
child the flu?
No. Injected flu vaccine is not living so it
cannot cause infection.
HealthZone will once
again be offering a flu vaccine clinic.
You may call HealthZone at
432-2050 Ext. 1300 to set up an
appointment for your child. Your child must be enrolled
in HealthZone to receive the vaccine.
