Emergency School Closing
In the event weather conditions or other factors necessitate the closing of school for the day, the following radio and tv stations will be notified to announce the information: In addition to learning of school cancellations/delays by listening to the radio, you may now call 432-2050, Ext. 225 at the school.
WDOS/WSRK - 730 AM; 104 FM
WKXZ - 93.9 AM; 95.3 FM
WZOZ - 103.1 FM
WCDO - Sidney
WBNG & WKTV -Channels 12 & 2 on tv
There may be times when the school will be closed early. Should this be the case, the announcements will be made on the same stations. It is very important that you direct your child in the proper procedures you want him/her to follow should school close early. The children should be given directions as to where to always go and what to do when they arrive at that place. Special busing directions should be sent in writing to the school to the attention of Mr. Ken Clow, Director of Transportation. The school will be unable to keep children in the building. The purpose of the closing is to get all children and staff home as safely as possible.
